These Boots Were Made For Freebies (?!)

So, I had the grand idea of wearing my new boots last week Thursday. I had only walked a similar distance as it is from my flat to work in these boots once before and I almost died (ok, slight exaggeration :/). That time I was coming back from church and decided to stop off at Sainsbury's to get a few things only to find my hand reaching for the Marie Claire magazine with the L'Occitane hand cream freebie and placing it in my basket. Some freebies you cannot ignore.

Anyway, as I was gritting my teeth through the pain of breaking in my shoes on my way to work, I was handed a flier by a lovely girl who was stood on the corner of a road. It was not just any old flier; it was an invitation to the opening of the new PretA Manger to grab a free lunch.

A free lunch!

I don’t know about you but that definitely put a spring in my step. I even made it to work 10 mins earlier than normal despite the fact that I left the flat late. Oh the power of a good freebie and a new pair of boots! I am determined to be a girly girl at most once a week so I shall endure this pain until I get used to the boots.
